Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some cookies are necessary for the website to function correctly, while others, including analytics cookies, are optional. We use Wix's cookie consent tools to give you control over optional cookies. Analytics cookies will only be used after you have given your permission through our cookie settings. Our lawful basis for using your information
UK data protection law requires us to have a lawful reason for collecting and using personal information.
Depending on why we're using your information, we may rely on:
Legitimate interests – where it's reasonably necessary for us to operate our business, respond to enquiries, communicate with clients and prospective clients and manage our business relationships, provided those interests don't override your rights.
Contract – where we need to use your information to take steps before entering into a contract with you or to provide services we've agreed to deliver.
Legal obligation – where we're required to keep or use certain information to comply with the law, including appropriate financial and accounting records.
Consent – where you've specifically given us permission to use your information for a particular purpose. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

For analytics and other non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we ask for your consent where required.
Marketing
We may occasionally use business contact information to keep in touch with clients, previous clients or other business contacts about Nous Creative and our services where we're permitted to do so.
Where consent is required, we'll ask for it before sending marketing communications.
You can ask us to stop sending you marketing communications at any time by contacting us or by using the unsubscribe option provided in the communication.
Who we share information with
We don't sell your personal information or share it with other organisations for their own marketing purposes. We use trusted suppliers and service providers to help us operate our business, including website hosting, email, accounting and analytics providers. We also sometimes work with specialist suppliers and partners to deliver client projects, such as printers, developers or other creative and technical specialists. Where they need personal information to carry out work on your behalf, we'll only share the information they need for that purpose. We may also disclose information where we're required to do so by law.
International transfers
Some of the technology and service providers we use, including Wix and Google, may process or store personal information outside the UK.

Where personal information is transferred internationally, appropriate safeguards are used to protect it in accordance with UK data protection law.
How long we keep your information
We only keep personal information for as long as we have a reasonable business or legal reason to keep it. For enquiries and prospective clients, we may retain contact details and correspondence so that we have a record of our conversations and can pick things up again if you contact us in the future.
If you become a client, we may retain relevant contact details, correspondence and project information after a project has finished. This allows us to respond to future questions, provide artwork or project updates and support further work where required.
We keep financial and accounting information for the periods required by law.
Where we no longer have a reasonable business or legal reason to retain personal information, we'll delete it securely. Analytics information is retained in accordance with the retention settings of the analytics services we use.
Keeping your information secure
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold against loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure.

Where third-party suppliers process personal information on our behalf, we expect them to have appropriate measures in place to protect that information.
Your rights
UK data protection law gives you a number of rights over your personal information. Depending on the circumstances, these can include the right to:
-
ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
-
ask us to correct information that's inaccurate or incomplete
-
ask us to delete your personal information
-
ask us to restrict how we use your information
-
object to us using your information
-
ask for your information to be transferred to you or another organisation in certain circumstances
-
withdraw your consent where we're relying on consent to use your information
Some of these rights depend on the circumstances and the lawful basis we're relying on, so they won't necessarily apply in every situation. If you'd like to exercise any of these rights, please contact us at us@nouscreative.co.uk. We'll respond to requests without undue delay and normally within one month, as required by UK data protection law.
